Using the latest API from foursquare, Right On Interactive enables marketers to engage with prospects and customers in real-time based on location.
When an individual checks into a location or venue using foursquare, the ROI lifecycle marketing platform can automatically send a targeted email containing personalized messages and offers, such as coupons to visit nearby attractions.
While integrations with foursquare are common, Right On Interactive uniquely allows marketers to pull data from various sources, including foursquare, and then apply enhanced lead scoring to the data to achieve a single, accurate view of the customer. Using Right On Interactive, marketers can assign points to foursquare activities, including check-ins, shouts and friends, and then use that information to send targeted communications.
In addition, marketers can target campaigns based on latitude and longitude of the check-ins on foursquare. For example, if a restaurant patron who has opted-in to receive information uses foursquare to check into an airport in another city, the restaurant can send an email welcoming the customer to town and directing him to the restaurant location in that city.
Visit Indiana, the state’s tourism office, tested the foursquare integration during its leaf cam promotion to tourists. Travelers who follow Visit Indiana on foursquare and checked in at any venue near one of their leaf cams received an exclusive special offer in real-time via email.
