The TechPoint Mira Awards recognizes excellence and innovation through the achievement of Indiana’s outstanding technology industry and focuses attention on the broader issue of the important role technology plays in Indiana’s economy.

Andy Clark is Vice President of Business Development for Right On Interactive, an Indianapolis based company nominated for the Marketing Technology and Excellence Innovation Award. Clark says the awards highlight the impact the emerging industry has on Indiana. “Indianapolis has become a hotbed for innovation around technology innovation and marketing. In fact I recently saw that the American Marketing Association did a survey and Indianapolis made the top ten cities for marketing and PR professionals.”

The Mira Awards had a record 91 finalists this year chosen by an expert panel of 39 judges. Finalists span the marketplace, from established corporations and major research universities to fledgling startups, and from creative agencies to cutting edge mobile and emerging technologies.

“Indiana has really become a beacon for companies and organizations around the United States,” Clark says. “These companies are coming to Indianapolis to learn more about marketing. It’s the concept that a rising tide raises all ships. I think the more marketing focused technology companies we can have in Indiana the better it is for everyone.”

Mira Award Winners will be announced at energy-infused gala at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis Saturday April 20th.
