WHAT IS AMAZON TARGETING?

Using Amazon targeting data to reach people with your display, video, or OTT ads on Amazon.com, Amazon owned properties and thousands of other websites and apps Amazon has partnered with, across all devices. We call our Amazon ad offerings “Amazon Premium.”

WHERE DO YOUR ADS APPEAR?

About 5-10% of your display ads will run on Amazon.com, targeting the types of people you want to reach.

Then we use that SAME Amazon targeting data to find those Amazon users in other places:

  • Amazon.com Ads – Your ads on Amazon.com can be display only (no video) and appear at the bottom of the listings page. However, if you have e-commerce on your website, your ads cannot appear on Amazon.com but can run on other Amazon properties and Publishers.
  • IMDb, Fire TV, Freevee, Twitch:
    • MDb.com(owned by Amazon) is the world’s most popular searchable database for information on movies, TV, and celebrities with 83 million users. Ads are display or video and use Amazon Targeting!
    • Fire TV(owned by Amazon) is a device that plugs into your Connected TV and enables access to hundreds of video streaming apps that contain movie or TV content. It also includes the Amazon News App.
    • Freevee(formerly IMDb TV) is Amazon’s FREE “Over the Top” (OTT) streaming service to watch movies and TV series.
    • Twitch(owned by Amazon) is the world’s leading live streaming platform where content creators broadcast on their own personal channel; vifeo games, esports competitions, music broadcasts/ concerts, and IRL (in real life) streaming of people doing everyday things. According to Techjury.net:
      • Twitch streaming content can be watched live on the Twitch website or its app, and your video (only) ads appear before or during the content.
      • Twitch has 90,000+ channels
      • 16-24 year-olds make up 41% of viewers
