Position SummaryThe Business Development Manager’s responsibilities include selling Right On Interactive’s products and professional services, working closely with our technology and agency partners, developing a territory, identifying sales opportunities, and exceeding assigned sales quotas. The Business Development Manager is expected to quickly become an expert in CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation.
Location: Chicago, IL Job Title: Business Development Manager Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of building and maintaining a sales pipeline for the territory
- Generate business opportunities through professional and dedicated prospecting and cold-calling
- Perform onsite and web-based product demonstrations
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by thinking strategically to identify solutions to business challenges
- Exceed all assigned sales quotas
- Utilize Salesforce.com (CRM) to manage all sales related activity
- Generate leads and promote brand awareness by participating in regional networking events and tradeshows
- Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Work closely with technology and agency partners on joint sales efforts
- Orchestrate resources internally and externally to support sales efforts
Job requirements- Documented track record of sales excellence (sales hunter and closer)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of software sales experience (preferably in an online, SaaS environment)
- Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
- Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, and presentation
- Keen analytical mind; ability to juggle multiple tasks & projects
- Experience utilizing salesforce automation/CRM solutions
- Bachelors Degree (Business Administration or Marketing preferred)
- Experience selling at the “C” level a plus
- Some travel required; approximately 25% to 50%
